The purposes of the HUSL National Alumni Association shall be to promote Howard University School of Law as an institution of academic excellence; to advance its mission of providing solutions to domestic and international legal, social, economic and political problems that are of particular concern to minority groups; to encourage increased financial giving to the Howard University School of Law; to keep alumni informed about developments at the Law School and accomplishments of alumni and other members of the School of Law family; to serve as a vehicle for assisting alumni in securing employment and other business opportunities; to facilitate increased involvement in the School of Law in such capacities as lecturers, mentors, recruiters, faculty, staff, and administrators; and to carry out any other function essential to advancing the mission of the Howard University and the Howard
University School of Law.
